Is Russia set to become Americanised? First McDonalds sprang up across Eastern Europe and now Wendy's food chain has arrived in Russia. It seems the currently robust consumer market in Russia has not gone unnoticed by some of America's biggest fast food and fizzy drinks companies, who are all now steadily investing in Russia and taking the opportunity to grow this relatively 'new market' while other more established areas of Europe have slowed down in their consumption.
